This was my first BWE, and I got up to level 12.

It's pretty fun. I was never really a fan of Turn-based RPGs, but this real time RPG is cool. And my charector looks JUST LIKE ME omg it is freaky. O_O

It was funny, last night me and my g/f and this guy she works with were in a group and we were trying to complete a mission for him (the one where you light the storm beacons) in the last hour and there was only like 2 minutes left so I ran with the blue torch bast all the beast masters to light the big torch. ...ok, so I guess you had to be there. :\

Last beta weekend was aroud 48 hours of playing, including staying up on thursday night to try out the new stuff.

This BWE was much more mature, and only played a few hours a day, though still was there at midnight on the first day, and midnight on the last.

Very excellent game, not my favorite, but in the top 5.

I'd have easily logged 44 hours for the last event had my mom not gotten mad at me on Sunday for having played for "15 hours yesterday [Saturday]." Just felt like saying back to her, "In all fairness mom, it was actually about 19 hours."

Ended up with ~36 hours, sleep deprivation, and one stinky man sitting around in his pajamas. The sacrifices I'm willing to make for this wickedly amazing game. So amazing in fact, it borders almost on cruelty...

Truely unique and entertaining. The first game with leveling where I didn't care about it. I'm hooked, and engrossed, but not yet smitten....

Guild Wars is an alright game. I'll play it until something better comes along however soon or far away that time is. It's not the best thing since sliced bread, but it'll do for now.

GW it's a good game. It's far from perfect, but it's a good game. Compared to many others it's a "great" game, but just as a game, it's an okay game. Imo.

Default Great game

Guild wars is the only time I got borderline Depressed when the Beta ended. That was in Feb. Now when each BWE starts I have to remember to do all my non online stuff i.e. eating, showering, walk the dog, ect or nothing gets done. when the game is open to play at all hours of the night every night I just might need to join a 12 step program to get my life back. In fact the box should have an 800 number you can call to halp you stop playing and go to work LOL.

I definitely love this game so far but I'll still have to wait to see if it's the "best game I've ever played."

If it gets better from one BWE to the next like it just did I think that will be a definite possibility.

Meh, it's a pretty fun game. But with only one major style of PvP, all of it being small scale when compared to almost any other form of online play existing today, and a short PvE storyline it doesn't last me long enough to make me a "Guild Wars addict". It's fun, but after your first several sets of 15k armor, several hundred k wasted on dye combinations, and not being able to bring yourself to drag through PvE again it loses it's luster. If you're really really really really really into small-scale arena PvP then this is your game, otherwise it's just pretty fun and I'm glad I don't have to pay monthly so I can pick it up every now and then and chat with my guildmates.

It was good when I actualy had something other than pvp to do all day. But as Pie said the story line was not long enough to get me totaly addicted, and for some reason unlike D2 and Starcraft the replay value is not very good after you have beaten the game a few times.
